There are 52 cards representing 13 different rhythms. The game is played like "Go Fish."  Players must locate sets of four matching rhythms by clapping out a selected card from their hand. 

may be used for beginning players by showing cards first and then clapping as a group activity rather than solo.

I have been using this game in my studio for over 10 years.  Once play begins, students do not want to stop. Everyone delights in finding the rhythms they hold in their hand. They especially like stumping the teacher !!

The game encourages memorization, ear training, and rhythmic reading.
